In an interview with Adam Schein on Mad Dog Sports Radio, the hall of fame quarterback stated that he believes Tua can lead the Dolphins to a Super Bowl victory at quarterback.
Marino stated, “I think he has done that. He just needs to keep growing.”

While he didn’t want to make excuses for Tua, Marino brought up the fact that he was coming off of his finest season ever and mentioned that the team had injury problems towards the end of the season.
For the former quarterback, the Dolphins must ensure that Tua is surrounded by the appropriate people and gets healthy. He is fully confident in his ability to do the task at hand.
Tua had a fantastic season last year.
He wasn’t just throwing the ball downfield to Jaylen Waddle or Tyreek Hill; instead, he was squeezing it into small spaces and unleashing powerful deep shots.
Although his performance against winning teams and in cold weather will remain somewhat uncertain, he has improved in practically every aspect of his game each year he has been in the league, so there are grounds to be hopeful about his future.
