TEXANS SUPER EXCITING NEWS: Boston College Recruits React To Bill O’Brien’s hiring
On Friday evening Boston College officially announced that Bill O’Brien will be their next head coach. The veteran head coach has had stops in both the NFL and college ranks with stints with the Penn State Nittany Lions, Houston Texans, New England Patriots, and Alabama Crimson Tide. He replaces Jeff Hafley who left Chestnut Hill after four seasons to take a job with the Green Bay Packers.
The Class of ’24 has 12 recruits signed to come to BC, two of whom are on campus right now (Pape Sy and Jadon Lafontant). This group formed a bond with the school through the previous staff. We spoke to many of those recruits to get their perspective on the new coach, and how they felt when they heard the news. This is going to be a running document, and I will add and push out updates when I hear back from other members of the class.
