Manchester City is planning to sign ESTAC Troyes winger Alexis Tibidi (20) on loan until the end of the season, according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
The Bundesliga team Stuttgart signed the France U20 international in January of last year, but he has only made three first team appearances. He was moved on a brief loan to the Dutch team NEC Nijmegen in the summer, although he never played for the Eredivisie team and has since returned to Troyes in Ligue 1.
It is now planned for him to be lent out once more.
Hawkins claims that he will be joining Manchester City’s U21 team this time.Because both teams are a part of the City Football Group (CFG), the transfer is therefore internal.
He will stay with the Premier League team’s youth division until the conclusion of the season, at which time he will return to Troyes, who are currently fighting to stay in Ligue 2 after being demoted from Ligue 1 the previous season.
