L’Jarius came straight out and said “pay me” to the Kansas City Chiefs. As the offseason persists, we will see how this all plays out.
Potential Contract Sneed and Kansas City Chiefs
Sneed is coming off one of the most legendary seasons that a cornerback can have. “When KC headed to Minnesota in Week 5 and Justin Jefferson was averaging 135 yards a game, Sneed allowed just two receptions for 14 yards. He put up similar performances against the league’s great and good throughout the regular season: Ja’Marr Chase 0 receptions, 0 yards, Keenan Allen 0-0; Davante Adams 1-4; DJ Moore 1-4; Hill 1-6; AJ Brown 1-8; Calvin Ridley 2-32.” According to theguardian.com.
Currently, Jaire Alexander is the highest-paid cornerback in the league signing an extension with the Green Bay Packers for 4 years 84 million back in May 2022. One would expect Sneed to demand something similar.
Potential Landing Spots
L’Jarius Sneed would have many suitors if the Kansas City Chiefs did not resign. Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, and the Oakland Raiders would be at the top of that list.
