SUSPENSION: JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS Suspends Top Key Player For Violating The Rule Of………….

Jaguars LT Cam Robinson reportedly suspended for PED violation

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL has suspended left lineman Cam Robinson of the Jacksonville Jaguars for four games for using performance-enhancing drugs.

From the time the Jaguars chose him in the second round of the 2017 draft, Robinson has started at left tackle when healthy. Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback, is shielded from harm by him.

It was first unclear what the PED infraction included.

The remainder of his contract’s guaranteed money is nullified by the ban. Robinson signed three-year, $54 million deal in 2022; he is already two years into it. It also jeopardizes his employment.

In the April draft, the Jaguars picked Oklahoma offensive lineman Anton Harrison with the 27th overall choice. Robinson missed the first four games of the season due to injury, so Harrison, who played left tackle for the Sooners, will likely get a chance to start at that position in Jacksonville.

Lawrence had a tremendous second NFL season, as the Jaguars made their first postseason berth since 2017. In the divisional round, they were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs, who went on to win the Super Bowl, after defeating the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card round. With expectations of making another postseason run, they want to build on their success from the previous campaign.

During the first four weeks, Robinson will be absent from games against the Atlanta Falcons, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Chiefs.
