Mavericks’ Luka Doncic, Jason Kidd fire back at ‘Luka Sucks’ chants vs. Pistons

At Little Caesars Arena, shouts of “Luka sucks!” were heard during the Mavericks’ victory over the Pistons. Doncic appeared to be motivated by them as he unleashed a scorching run that put Dallas ahead before it completely destroyed Detroit in the second half. He achieved an NBA record with his sixth straight 30-point triple-double.

When questioned about the shouts following the game, Doncic didn’t raise a fuss.
“Here in Detroit? Man, get over it. “I’m fine,” Doncic declared. The Mavericks star stated that he enjoys hearing similar shouts from rival fans. “They continue even though they know it’s untrue.”
Luka Doncic’s statement seems to imply that he is only shocked by the chants coming from the Pistons supporters, given his lacklustre past with the team. However, it’s difficult to ignore the comment’s second meaning, which is to mock one of the NBA’s poorest clubs.
