Following a crushing loss to the Boston Celtics, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night in an amazing comeback performance. Rookie for the Warriors, Trayce Jackson-Davis, contributed significantly to the win with his 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 blocks, and outstanding defence of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Jackson-Davis gave up the secret to his victory over Antetokounmpo in a post-game interview with the media, stating, “I’ve never fought someone like him before… Blake Gryphon is the person I’ve previously witnessed protect him, and he’s done a really good job. Simply taking a backseat and letting him approach you, then observing his favourite spin manoeuvre.”

In the run-up to this game, Jackson-Davis revealed that his representatives have a close friendship with Gryphon and that they discussed the former NBA star’s defence of Antetokounmpo with the rookie for the Warriors. During the Brooklyn Nets’ seven-game series against the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, Gryphon was a starter and frequently faced up against Antetokounmpo.
