The veteran is also a capable basketball player, as seen by his 31-point performance against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.
Bobby Portis Has Nothing But Love For Milwaukee Bucks Fans.Speaking to the press after helping Milwaukee secure a 140-129 statement win against Phoenix, Portis was asked to share his thoughts on all the love and support he’s received from Bucks supporters through the years. The 29-year-old opened up about what this all means to him. Portis also had a revelation about the one thing he will forever take with him even beyond his stint in Milwaukee:
“Milwaukee has showed me love since Day 1,” Portis said. “I have no words to really say about it. They are who they are. They love and support me. The love I get from them is exceptional. I respect it, I love it.
“It’s always fun to hear the chants, too. I don’t really talk about that much, but (that) gets me going. Something I will always cherish, for sure. I don’t know how many players have their named called. I’m not a starter, I don’t start on the team. I’m just a guy that just comes in and work hard, give my all to the team. Play every game, practice everyday. Just work my tail off to be the best I can be.
“Definitely shoutout to Milwaukee, though, for the love.”
