New York Rangers owner charged with sexual assault

James Dolan, the owner of the New York Rangers and Knicks, is allegedly accused of molesting a masseuse. This information was reported by am NewYork. A complaint of trafficking is also included.

Kellye Croft, the masseuse, alleges that Dolan coerced her into setting up a meeting with producer Harvey Weinstein and engaging in “unwanted sex.”

Thus, the masseuse charges Dolan and Weinstein of forcing her to touch her and committing sexual assault.

Additionally, the owner of the Rangers has been accused of sex trafficking since Dolan enabled Kellye Croft to be transported to California “for forcible sexual purposes.”

Note that the events allegedly took place in 2013.

I have suffered so much because of what James Dolan and Harvey Weinstein did to me years ago, and it was not an easy decision to come forward and seek justice […] James Dolan manipulated me, brought me to California to abuse me, and then set me up for a violent attack by Weinstein. – Kellye Croft

Kellye Croft further claims that the Rangers owner knew full well of Harvey Weinstein’s past of abuse and sexual assault. Following his conviction for rape and sexual assault in recent years, Weinstein is presently serving a 39-year jail term.

Madison Square Garden, the home of the Rangers and Knicks, has refrained from commenting on the lawsuit for the time being.
It will be intriguing to watch where this tale goes from here. I’m particularly interested to see if the NHL will become involved.

But all in all, it’s another piece of bad news for the league’s image, which has had to deal with the Blackhawks’ situation in recent years.
