JUST NOW:OOO Crysta Palace Player Confirmed DEAD…..

The young centre defender was the target of an approach in January and is currently pursuing new opportunities.

Atletico Madrid is expected to compete with Crystal Palace for the 19-year-old Cristhian Mosquera, a summer transfer target.

Although other teams in Europe and the Premier League are also keeping an eye on the highly-rated center-back, the Eagles made an attempt for him in January.

Mosquera earned his debut for the Spain Under-21 team last week and hasn’t missed a minute of Valencia’s last 21 La Liga games.

His Valencia contract has an appearances-based clause that went into effect this month and extended his term through June 2026. Mosquera is still weighing his options, though.

It is now known that Atletico Madrid is eager to make a summer move for Mosquera, hoping to entice him to the Spanish capital with a significant rise in his meagre pay.

This summer, Diego Simeone’s team intends to make defensive additions. Aston Villa is leading the race to sign Mario Hermoso, a 28-year-old centre back, as a free agent.

Marc Guehi, an England centre back who may leave Selhurst Park this summer, is expected to draw offers, and Palace is ready for them.

Dougie Freedman, the sporting director at Palace, started screening possible successors months ago. In December, Palace scouts travelled to Spain to see Mosquera.

Ronnie Edwards, a 20-year-old defender, is another player Palace is interested in.

The Eagles have previously made three attempts to recruit Edwards, who West Ham and Swansea attempted to sign last summer, but Peterborough has turned them down.

Two years ago, Palace made an attempt to recruit Edwards for £15 million; however, Edwards would now be available for less as Peterborough has been down to League One.

The match between Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace is crucial for both sides as they fight to stay in the Premier League.

Due to their four-point deduction for breaking the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules, Forest fell into the relegation zone during the international break. Although Forest has challenged the ruling, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team now has nine games left to salvage their season, and they are not playing well. With just one victory in their previous nine games, the team’s on-field performance appears to be negatively impacted by the rumoured points deduction. They must concentrate on things on the pitch now that they are aware of their fate. Although there are some extremely gifted people at Forest, Nuno needs to strike the correct balance.

Palace is eight points clear of the relegation zone, but Oliver Glasner’s team faces an extremely difficult final stretch of games against Man City,

It is confirmed by Nottingham Forest that it has filed an appeal today against the four-point penalty that the Commission imposed for the Club’s violation of the Premier League’s Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR).

After nine games remaining in the season, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team is currently one point from safety in the Premier League’s relegation zone according to the independent commission’s judgement.

Luton Town has emerged from the relegation zone after rallying to draw 1-1 with Nottingham Forest over the weekend.

The complete Premier League statement can be seen below. As a result of their PSR violations this season, Forest and Everton have each been docked four and six points, respectively—down from ten points at the start of their appeal.

Everton, who are now four points above the relegation zone, could lose more points this season and still have to deal with a second punishment for violating PSRs.

Nottingham Forest FC has been immediately docked four points by an independent commission for violating the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSRs) for the last season of 2022–2023.

On January 15, Nottingham Forest admitted that it had over the applicable PSR threshold of £61 million by £34.5 million, and as a result, the club was referred to an independent Commission. Due to the club’s two seasons in the EFL Championship during the assessment period, the threshold was less than £105 million. The Premier League Rules, which offer an accelerated timeline for PSR complaints to be addressed in the same season the complaint is submitted, were followed throughout the case hearing.

This month, after two days of hearings, the independent Commission decided on the sentence.
