Manchester United’s next Emirates FA Cup fixture has been given a confirmed date and time.

The Reds’ fourth-round trip to National League club Eastleigh or League Two team Newport County will be played on Sunday 28 January, kicking off at 16:30 GMT.

This is due to the intriguing clash being selected for live TV coverage on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport.

James Clarke put the hosts ahead just before the hour mark but their visitors from Hampshire equalised dramatically through Chris Maguire eight minutes from time.

Eastleigh had to play with 10 men from the 38th minute when George Langston was sent off.
