The 25-year-old player, who has 32 goals and 11 assists in 35 matches for Portugal in all competitions this season, has piqued the interest of top European teams due to his current success. PSG is among those paying attention to the Swedish attacker.
However, if the capital is serious about pursuing the sporting superstar, it will encounter fierce competition for the goal-scorer. According to Calciomercato, if AC Milan fails to sign Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee, Gyökeres will be their fallback alternative.
Gyökeres has a €100 million release clause, which is tough for Milan to meet but not impossible. Nonetheless, the Italian club is not the only major contender for the forward, according to a new rumour, with Arsenal also in the running.
