Another Game Missed By Key Star, Is It Almost Time For Him To Leave The Charlotte Hornets?

The path wasn’t meant to be paved with potholes the size of basketballs when Gordon Hayward signed that massive contract in 2020, making him the highest paid player in Charlotte Hornets history until LaMelo Ball’s deal begins next season.
Together with Terry Rozier, the player he played with in Boston, Hayward intended to form a powerful tandem that would provide a successful product to Charlotte. It never occurred and won’t now that Rozier has been traded to Miami, starting the dismantling and retooling of the Hornets’ dismal roster.
Hayward stated, “Having guys get traded is always tough because you build relationships and get to know people,” prior to missing Wednesday night’s Hornets game against Toronto at Spectrum Centre. It’s merely a component of the company.

Gordon Hayward misses another game. Is his time with Charlotte Hornets almost over?

Although things didn’t turn out the way we had hoped, I still wish him the best. I always support my teammates. As the NBA trade deadline on Thursday approaches, it’s possible that Hayward may be introducing a new group of players to his teammates.
It appears that his time with the Hornets is running out. In the last season of the $120 million, four-year contract he signed, Hayward may be moving about more than Rozier.
Miles Bridges and PJ Washington are the subject of rumours, but Hayward hasn’t been mentioned much. This is partly because he hasn’t played in a genuine game since the day after Christmas, missing 22 games in the previous six weeks due to a strained left calf.
