Boreham Wood Star Receives Letter Of Suspension After Halifax Game, this was Torquay United striker Tyrone Marsh expressed Regret For Receiving the red card.

Tyrone Marsh, a striker for Torquay United, has apologised after being dismissed on Saturday for pushing a teammate.

Manager Kevin Nicholson urged Marsh to “grow up” after Marsh was sent off during an argument with Dan Butler during the 1-1 draw against Altrincham.

“After looking back on the incident that led to my sending off on Saturday, I realise how wrong I was to act in this way,” Marsh stated in a statement.

“I am fortunate that my actions did not cost us the game.”

Marsh, who has scored in each of the team’s last three games, received a three-match ban as a result of his red card.

“I know that I let the team down and would like to apologise to all the people associated with Torquay United FC, the board of directors, staff, the gaffer, team-mates, and, of course, the supporters of the team,” Marsh said.

“I want to express my sincere regrets to my teammate Dan Butler and the fans that travelled to the game.

“This was the first time I had been involved in an incident like this and it was completely out of character.

“I accept my three-game sentence as punishment, and I swear to everyone connected to the club that I will serve my three-game ban and then come back to do what I do best—score the goals that will hopefully elevate us.
