The Kansas City Chiefs are back-to-back Super Bowl champs thanks to former Georgia wide receiver Mecole Hardman hauling in the game-winning catch in overtime.
Georgia fans would have been able to celebrate regardless of who won Super Bowl 58, with former Bulldogs on both the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs squads. But to have a Dawg be part of the game-winning play calls for some barking indeed.
Former Georgia wide receiver Mecole Hardman caught the game-winning touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes to seal the win for the Chiefs, who have won their third Super Bowl in the last five years — twice against the 49ers.

Hardman was drafted by the Chiefs in the 2nd round of the 2019 NFL Draft and has been a part of all three Kansas City Super Bowl wins during the Andy Reid-Patrick Mahomes era.
This was only the second overtime game in the history of the Super Bowl, with San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan ironically being on the losing end of the first one as offensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons in their OT loss to the New England Patriots in 2017.
