Corbin Carrol At Center Again After Arizona Nightmare

In the first game, we speculated whether Corbin Carroll had demonstrated enough in the last few weeks to be considered a “being back” candidate and whether Slade Cecconi’s mechanical modification of his plant foot would be the secret to his future success.
Gabe and Brett recap the series  and discuss what stood out to us over the course of this series in the Nations’ Capital.
Gabe and I were wondering why the D-Backs were struggling against inferior pitchers who they ought to be dominating against after the dismal Game 2 loss. We also questioned whether the Nationals’ aggressive game plan against Brandon Pfaadt was the reason for his lack of strikeouts, or whether Pfaadt was just having a bad day.

The Game 3 rubber match had us talking about Ryne Nelson’s really solid June and asked ourselves if this is the new him. We also checked up on the Blaze VS Geno battle for 3rd, and who we think is the odd man out will be when Alek returns. Gabe and I also put ourselves in Torey’s shoes and gave our two cents on getting Jake McCarthy more playing time.
