BIG FREEZE CLAIMS THE BLUES’ MATCH AGAINST THE SHAYMEN
Following a pitch inspection at 4pm on Monday, we can confirm that Tuesday night’s Vanarama National League game against FC Halifax Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The decision was agreed mutually between both clubs to conduct an early pitch inspection which was carried out by a match official at Roots Hall this evening.
With the condition of the pitch currently unplayable in some areas, the distance for the opposition to travel, and the below-freezing temperatures not expected to improve greatly, the decision was made to postpone the fixture.
