The Steelers could have the basis of a deal with Chicago completed before they depart Indianapolis the following week, should they be interested.

As of the 2024 season, Pickett is the only quarterback on the Steelers roster with a contract. To complete their collection of signal-callers, they may trade for a guy like Fields, add another veteran like Russell Wilson or Kirk Cousins, keep Rudolph, who is a free agent right now, or choose from among the youngsters available this spring.

According to ESPN, fans can expect the Steelers to fill their most important position by way of a landmark trade.
