San Francisco 49ers star Brock Purdy couldn’t win a ring this season, but at least he got one now. According to a report by TMZ, the Iowa State product just tied the knot.

He got married to his longtime girlfriend, Jenna Brandt, in Des Moines, Iowa, with north of 350 guests and four buses for transportation.

Purdy is no longer Mr. Irrelevant.

Once known for being the last pick of the NFL Draft, he took a big leap forward this season as the Niners’ starting quarterback.

He wasn’t exempt from criticism, mockery, and doubts, though.

Despite leading the league in several efficiency-related categories, some analysts, fans, and even colleagues thought he was just a byproduct of Kyle Shanahan’s great offense and his star-studded team.

There can be some truth to that, as he’s tailor-made to execute that system and has a plethora of talent around him, but that shouldn’t take anything away from him.

Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo were also playing in that offense and with most of those teammates, yet none of them were able to keep the chains in motion and put up points on the scoreboard, and Purdy deserves a lot of credit for taking his team all the way to the big game.

Now, he’ll have all eyes on him once again, and the same can be said of his coach.

Hopefully, he’ll be able to put up big numbers in 2024, as he’ll be eligible to sign a lucrative contract shortly after the season.

For now, he can focus on spending time with his wife.
