“I Handled It The Way I Should’ve Handled It” Former Steelers QB Opens Up About Transition To Philadelphia Eagles

During his initial press conference with the Eagles, he commented on the trade, “I think the communication is what it is. It was behind closed doors. I am confident with how I handled it. I handled it as I should have. I am thrilled to be here. It worked out so perfectly that I ended myself in Philadelphia. So, I believe everything happens for a purpose, and I am exactly where I am supposed to be.

Regarding the commencement of his new journey, which begins with the Eagles squad, the quarterback stated via Yahoo Sports, “It just felt like it was time from the things that transpired. Wanted to get a chance to go somewhere else and continue to grow my career.”

Looking forward to meeting all these guys in a couple of weeks when everybody gets back into town. But I think it’s an awesome opportunity to join this team.”

The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award recipient was picked up in the 2022 NFL Draft in the first round as the 20th pick. In his last two campaigns, the quarterback registered 4,474 yards, including 13 interceptions and 13 touchdowns, as per the BR.
