The Steelers were hit hard by injuries in the second half of the regular season, but head coach Mike Tomlin worked his magic on the roster and got them to win enough games.

Pittsburgh didn’t win many games convincingly during the regular season, but winning ugly is what they do best.

To Tomlin and the rest of the team’s credit, they never made excuses despite suffering injuries to some key players like T.J. Watt and Minkah Fitzpatrick.

The defense is again shorthanded ahead of the Buffalo Bills playoff matchup and they will be seriously tested when they take on Josh Allen in poor weather conditions.

However, the Steelers will be relying on a couple of veterans in Myles Jack and Eric Rowe to step up against the Bills, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

“As they’ve done the last few weeks, the #Steelers elevated LB Myles Jack and S Eric Rowe from the practice squad,” Rapoport tweeted.Jack and Rowe have been called up to help fortify the defense and the two veterans have done a solid job despite not getting in many reps during the year.

While they’re not Watt and Fitzpatrick, Jack and Rowe have been able to hold their own and give Pittsburgh some meaningful snaps.

The pair has their work cut out for them when they try to slow down Buffalo, but Pittsburgh’s proven they can win even in the m

ost adverse conditions.
