Ex-Cincinnati Reds All-Star Jesse Winker signs with Washington Nationals

Winker, 30, was a member of the Milwaukee Brewers during the previous season. In 166 at-bats across 61 games, he recorded a.199 batting average, a.567 OPS, and one home run. He had previously spent one season (2022–2023) with the Seattle Mariners, when he hit 219 in 456 ABs in 136 games, with an OPS of.688 and 14 home runs.

From 2017 to 2021, the seven-year veteran of Major League Baseball played his first five seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, where he was selected as a National League All-Star in his last season.

During his All-Star 2021 MLB season, the left-handed batter hit 305 with a.949 OPS, 32 doubles, 24 home runs, and 71 RBI in 110 games for the Reds.
