Alabama edge Dallas Turner — who could be the first defensive player off the board — told me he has upcoming pre-draft visits with, among others, the #Bears (Nos. 1 and 9 overall picks), #Falcons (8) and #Vikings (11 and 23).

Turner is projected to be selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the eleventh round by many mock drafts. It just makes sense that the fit. To help put pressure on opposing quarterbacks, defensive coordinator Brian Flores and general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah must find more pass rushers after losing Danielle Hunter. If they ended up with Turner, they could quickly and affordably meet that need.

Turner, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, won the consensus All-American title and the SEC co-defensive player of the year after the 2023–24 college football season. Turner, who is just 21 years old, would be the Vikings pass rush’s ideal addition.
