Amazing Reaction From English Pop Singer Robbie William for Carlton

Robbie Williams, an English pop singer, has once again joined the Carlton bandwagon, this time praising Harry McKay for winning the battle of the twins. Despite both brothers having been in the AFL for nine years, Sunday’s match between  Essendon and Carlton was the first time they have played against one other, putting an end to the jokes that they are the same person. Harry got the better of his brother, and Ben gave up a free kick for holding the guy, allowing Harry to kick the Blues’ second goal on the way to a 96-70 triumph. Williams was eager to twist the knife on Bombers supporters with a new song about the brothers.

“Our McKay is better than your McKay,” he sang.

“And we all know why we got the better McKay,” before breaking into a riff.

It’s not the first time Williams has sung the Blues creating the viral hit “De Koning’s in the air” after their two-point semi-final win over Melbourne last season.

“De Koning’s in the air, everywhere I look around. De Koning’s everywhere, leaving bodies on the ground,” he sang.

“And he’s better than his brother and his better than his dad.

“There’s only one Thomas De Koning and he’s the best one we’ll ever have.

Williams has shown a love for Australian sports personalities in recent years, reinventing his 1997 hit Angels to honor Ange Postecoglou.

“You can keep your Pochettino, Conte and Mourinho, and even Christian Gross,” he sang.

“Cause everywhere we go, I’m loving Big Ange instead.”
