Green’s “repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts” was cited by NBA executive vice president and head of basketball operations Joe Dumars in a statement explaining their decision.
Green will be suspended without notice. He will “need to fulfill specific league and team requirements before he returns to play,” according to the NBA. According to league sources, the 33-year-old is anticipated to work with the Warriors and NBA throughout his suspension and get counseling.
