The manager may have ruled out signing a Manchester United player due to “discussions.”

PSV Eindhoven coach Peter Bosz may have just scuttled any potential deal for Manchester United’s Premier League benchwarmer Facundo Pellistri to the Eredivisie leaders.

Rik Elfrink, a Dutch reporter who specializes in all things PSV, stated earlier this week that Manchester United’s £9 million Uruguay international was only likely to arrive at the Philips Stadium if Bosz’s side spent money on fellow winger Yorbe Vertessen during the January transfer window.

And, according to the manager of Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, and Lyon, Vertessen is not leaving this month.

It remains to be seen whether the same is true with Facundo Pellstri, who has been linked to Villarreal and the LA Galaxy.

But, as things are, the odds of Pellistri ending up in PSV are slim to none.
